Life is full of surprises. Just a few short months ago, I was living my best life. Today, I'm now having to learn how to navigate life with an auto-immune disorder.

A few months ago I became really ill. I thought I would get better once I passed the kidney stones. I did not. Instead, a wealth of new symptoms arose and I came faced with the decision of needing to close my business.

As we are approaching our 10 year anniversary, that is the last thing I wanted to do, but I realized that if I wanted to grip on my health, I just may have to.

Determined, I refused to close completely. Instead, I put a password lock on my website and gave the password to a small section of our customer base so that they could still order as needed without requiring as much time from me. (If you have chronic illness, I know you know what I mean. You just never know when you're going to have a decent day or not.)

While the decision I made to lock down my website from the public may be an unusual one, it was a needed one for my well being. I didn't want to get into all of this back then but so many of you have followed our journey for so long and I know you've been wondering what's really going on and am finally ready to be transparent.

 

I've taken off the password for the next 48 hours so that you are able to access seapaints.com now if you need to, but I will be putting the password back on to prohibit orders from coming, as my health requires it.
